Yesterday my talented friend Steffi and me decided to make a little after-work portrait shooting with each other in order to get a better feeling for models and on how to give them feedback.

It's weird for me not to be the photographer - it's way nicer behind the camera :)

I just ran into the twitter profile of TheQuoteWhore, who has about 154.000 followers.

And look there - they are using my picture "push it" as  profile pic!

Present from me to me: one flickr PRO account

As you cannot download/copy any pictures directly from pixelkuss.com, I thought this would be a good thing.

My favorite one 2009:

Hi all, do you know panoramio?

Panoramio is a geolocation-oriented photo sharing website (wiki quote).

All pictures which have been uploaded to panoramio will be reviewed by google and then after several checks added to google earth or google maps.

So if you take a look at the google maps of T.eisnach or P.enang (just avoiding to find my blog because of this locations) you'll find some of my stuff - for example this one.

Hi all,

today I got my new objective.

AF-S VR 50mm / 1.4G.

Such a cool bokeh.

Love it!

Here are some first test shots to compare my "old" objective with the new one:

Furthermore I've tried to take some pictures when walking trough the forest.

Well.. I took about 50 pictures and 80% are simply trash.

I took every picture w/ the 50mm objective in manual mode w/o autofocus.

I really have to get better in this..

So in the gallery you will only find one new mushroom.

However.. practice makes perfect ;)

I just had an free Shooting with 'Peter Atkins' who is the "photographer of the year 2007" (www.peteratkins.de).

He consistently raffles such a shooting @ his homepage and this time I was the lucky one who "won" it.
