Last week i took the snap decision to take the next flight to Paris - in order to see The Maine live in concert.

Luckily my good friend Gerrard found time to guide me through the town. The time was pretty limited as I arrived on Friday and left on Saturday. Furthermore at this trip I really didn't care to much about photography.. :)

Last week I was on a wonderful city trip to Rome.

It was a 3 day trip and compared to other city trips I really did not shoot to many picutures, as taking pictures in Rome somehow wasn't too easy for me.

Even if it was my second time in Rome I was overwhelmed by all the big monuments and historical buildings - therefore it was really hard to focus on the small and special things which I usually portrait.

For sure the pictures of Romes big attractions are fine - just as fine as they appear on the 1 million greeting cards..

Anyway, at least I tried to take some rather unusual pictures,

My favourite one is Venice. There are always a lot of self-displaying people as well as party feeling and crazyness - I love that more than chill-out and relax time ;)

As I am still on a business trip to San Diego, I went to the Comic Con - which took place there - last friday. It was really amazing. A lot of craziness at one place.

after I have seen some extremely impressive black and white photographs by artists like Tatsuya Sato I wanted to try this kind of reportage-picture-style by myself. Well..

as I am currently on my way back from Asia to Germany,

I have just used the time in transit at the airport to select and edit some pictures which I took two weeks ago in Singapore at the Thian Hock Keng Temple.

The colors there are very bright and clean – just like Singapore itself :)

Because I really really really (!) suffer from acute wanderlust I just browsed through my archive an found some pictures I took with a simple compact camera some time ago.

Even if they're not in SLR quality they are not bad at all.

I want to catch a flight to a place where the weather is sunny, the people are friendly and there is no university stress, no maths far and bride..
